ROUTE INFORMATION

The Brisco Gorseinon 10K route will start and finish close to Penyrheol Leisure Centre before heading out through Gorseinon High Street to join the newly refurbished cycle path for 4K (approx.). Runners will then head towards Pontarddulais before turning to run through Grovesend as they take on the final kilometres back to Penyrheol

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. Can I have a refund if I can’t run?

A. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds. This is a not for profit event and all funds raised will go to charity.

Q. Am I able to transfer my place to someone else?

A. Yes – Your entry into the Event is transferable, meaning that another person can compete in the Event under your competitor number in your place should you wish to Transfer. The deadline to transfer is midnight on up until the transfer deadline, which is 6th March 2025. To transfer your place please email info@morgansarmy.co.uk.

Q. What are the start time and location of the race?

A. 09:00* – Elite Athlete and Mass Race Start
The 2025 race will start and finish in Penyrheol.
*Start times are subject to change based on the conditions on the day of the event.

Q. Is there a baggage area?

A. Yes – there will be a bag drop in Penyrheol Leisure Centre.

Q. Will water be available on the course?

A. Brecon Carreg are our hydration partner and will be providing water along the route.

Q. What’s in my race pack?

A. Race packs will need to be collected by participants on Saturday 5th April 11.00am-5pm, or race day between 07.00-08.30am. You will need to bring photographic ID with you to collect your race pack and you must collect your own race pack. Your race pack contains your race number with integrated timing chip.

Q. Can I register on the day?

A. No – there will be no entry or registration on the day.

Q. Is there a cut off time for runners?

A. You must complete your race within 2 hours, should you not be maintaining the pace to achieve this cut-off when you reach the halfway point, you’ll be asked to board the sweep vehicle which will return you to the finish area.

Q. Are there toilets on the course?

A. Yes – there will be toilets located throughout the course.

Q. Should I suffer an injury on race day what support is available?

A. Professional medical staff will be available at the Start/Finish line and along the course should you face difficulties.

Q. Will there be a photographer on the day?

A. Yes – more details to be confirmed soon.

Q. Can I run in fancy dress?

A. Running in fancy dress is welcomed, however, if your outfit is likely to impede other runners please contact info@morgansarmy.co.uk

Q. When do entries close?

A. General entries close at noon 5th April 2025, or sooner if race reaches capacity.

Q. Can I run with headphones?

A. No – you should not run with headphones during the event.
